    Remarks: 
    IAS files contain a copy of brief historical overview of St. Joseph's Hospital from an unidentified source. A Guide to Chicago's Public Sculpture text indicates the statue was provided by the hospital's architects, Belli and Belli, in 1964. An unidentified newspaper clipping in IAS files states that the work was shipped from Carrara, Italy.
