    Remarks: 
    The rock was plucked when the fields were graded over for the new Strawberry Hill Park. Shortly after the park opened in 1972, the Park District invited Bob Green, Bob Harvey and Jeremy Roberston to paint the strawberry rock. IAS files contain copy of related article from Bainbridge Island Almanac, 1994, pg. 51. Children climb and play on the rock.
