    Description: 
    A seated bronze angel is installed in the center of a red granite base. The base forms the seat beneath the angel and a curved back wall with a circular space cut out to accommodate the angel's wings. The angel extends her arms and rests them on the top of a bundle of sticks which she holds out in front of her. The angel is dressed in long robes and her wings are spread out behind her.

    Remarks: 
    Francis H. Haserot commissioned the sculpture for his wife's grave. IAS files contain a related article from The Foundry (July 1, 1924): pg. 499-505 which describes in detail how the piece was cast.
