    Description: 
    An abstract sculpture, painted bright red, consisting of two curved flat plates, and five bent pipes welded or bolted together. The sculpture is set on a concrete foundation covered with wood chips.

    Remarks: 
    Ferris State University was known as Ferris State College when the sculpture was dedicated in 1980. The sculpture was created as part of Ferris State College's Sculpture-in-the-Environment Project '80, also known as SITE Project '80. It cost about $14,000, with $7,189 provided by the Michigan Council for the Arts, the remainder from several Ferris organizations and entities, including the Development Council and Office for the Arts. Tim Kelly assisted the artist in painting the sculpture. The sculpture is referred to by students as "Bent pieces of metal," "The Junkyard," and "The Harbaugh." IAS files contain the dedication program.
