    Atop a slender granite base rests a bronze portrait bust of George Dilboy in his military uniform and hat. The base is adorned on the front with a bronze inscription plaque featuring an eagle with its wings spread perched on oak branches.

    Remarks: 
    George Dilboy received the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for his valor during the Battle of Belleau in World War I. The monument was commissioned and paid for by the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (Order of AHEPA). IAS files contain a newspaper article from the Somerville Journal, Aug. 29, 1931.
