    Description: 
    A nude girl seated with her proper left leg out and her proper right leg curled under her. Her proper left arm is back and her proper right hand is forward picking up a net in front of her. In front of the net is a frog jumping away from the girl.

    Remarks: 
    IAS files contain a copy of Warren, Elizabeth, "Gods and Goddesses," Friends of Linden Place News, Oct. 1990, which reports that "while abroad in 1906, Col. Colt visited a number of art centers in the Old World and before returning home, ordered copies of some of the rare old masterpieces for his Bristol estate."
    Further information can be found at the Rhode Island Historical Society Graphics Collection. IAS files contain a photocopy of a historical picture of the piece in its original location, ca. 1906. Incoming report lists signature on base as either Greboire or Gregoire, role unknown.
