    Three dolphins, one with a small, nude boy on its back, are placed around two concentric, circular, water spouting units. The fountain is placed in a circular raised flower bed.

    Remarks: 
    Funds for the sculpture and fountain were provided by North Shore State Bank in appreciation to the community of Shorewood for their patronage. The dolphins were created by Franci Schoenfield and cast in Lyons, Illinois. The fountain and surrounding landscape were designed by Joseph J. Lynch. The fountain was constructed by John Grand. IAS files contain related pamphlet "Shorewood Fountain." The sculpture is lit at night. It is placed indoors ever y Fall.
