Description:
The bust of a policeman in uniform, with a hat, necktie and a badge. The bust is mounted on a three-tiered, inscribed base.

Remarks:
The monument cost about $15,000. Officers began collecting funds for the monument after Officer Jerry C. Davis was killed in 1982. Pictures of an officer were sent to the artist and used in executing the bust. The monument was dedicated during Law Week.
