    Remarks: 
    Ann Marie Gilbert designed the sculpture during her senior year at Berlin High School, before graduating in the spring of 1973. In the fall of 1973, her sister Elaine Gilbert made templates and gave them to a welding class but graduated before the sculpture was completed. Welding student Fred Murphy finished the job his senior year. The sculpture was moved to its present location to avoid mowing difficulties. IAS files contain related articles from the Berlin Reporter, Dec. 20, 1995, pg. 1, 9; and Jan. 2, 1996, pg. 1, 10.
