    Description: 
    Abstract arrangement of aluminum circular forms incorporating a platform for seating. Sculpture set on a wood and concrete base. Two additional benches, designed by the artist of the same materials, are situated close by.

    Remarks: 
    Commissioned in 1982 for $4,999 as part of a project to provide outdoor sculpture for selected community centers in Jacksonville. Funds were provided by the Community Development Block Grant Program administered by the City of Jacksonville, Department of Housing and Urban Development. Neighborhood selection committees awarded each of the final commissions. Sculptor's design was winning entry in a competition conducted November-December 1983. Final cost including installation, $5,498. P C & D Construction assisted with installation.
    Sculpture was originally located about 25 feet from current location, and moved at time of building addition. IAS files include related HUD documentation, including invoices and press release (dated Jan. 10, 1985).
