Inscription:  unsigned Description:  A pair of lions on separate pedestals. Both lions are painted orange/tan with brown highlights and blue eyes. They are in a resting position with their heads held high. Pages excerpted from a developer's 1889 booklet (included in IAS files), indicate that lions were originally erected for an entry to a posh housing project which was never developed.
