    Remarks: 
    The name of the sculpture was arrived at through a contest. The winning entry, "Concinnity" was submitted by a part-time employee of the college and means "harmonious gathering of all parts" from the Latin word concinnitas. The marble base was designed by Lois Furr and John Mason. The contractor of the project was Cal Neon; Dan Avallone, project engineer.
