    Description: 
    Mayari-R steel rods are welded into forms of children engaged in various activities are mounted against the brick walls over the entrances to the school. On the Baisley Street side of the building, are the figures of three children and one adult. The children are dancing along in single file, moving toward the adult teacher figure who symbolizes learning and physical development. On the Bedell Street side of the building, there are two groups of figures. One group illustrates a girl and a boy working over a project together. This relief is symbolizes cooperation at work and play. The other illustrates three children, two seated boys and a standing girl, working together at a table. This relief symbolizes the meeting of minds which is so much a part of the pursuit of learning.
