    Description: 
    Four figures of World War I soldiers, two at the east side entrance to the courthouse and two at the west side. The soldiers, dressed in military uniforms that include hats, long coats, and leggings from their knees to their ankles, stand holding binoculars to their midriffs with their proper left hands. The figures are placed atop tall doric columns that are decorated with garlands at the top.

    Remarks: 
    The figures were first modeled in clay by L. C. Dunagan. Sergeant Smallen, a recruiting officer from Mississippi, posed for the statues. White Stone Company fabricated the figures. N. W.
