Peterman/St. Gilles - Bruxelles (On plaque, front of base:) Petrus Stuyvesant/Director General of Nev Nederland/of Curacao and the Dutch West Indies/this bust was given to the people of New York/in trust of/Saint-Marks-in-the-Bowerye/in 1915 by Wilhelmina Queen of the Netherlands (inscription regarding Stuyvesant's original commission from Commissie Bier of the States General) signed Founder's mark appears.
    Description: 
    Bust of Stuyvesant which shows his arms folded in front of his chest. He has long hair and stares off to his proper left. Sculpture sits atop a square base which has a plaque attached to the front.
