    Description: 
    A brightly painted sculpture composed of two groups of firefighters, atop brick walls. Each figure group consists of five firemen, hose in hand, rushing towards the burning building in the center. There is a yellow fire hydrant behind each group. The burning building sits atop a cylindrical steel pedestal.

    Remarks: 
    The piece was funded by the City of Toledo's Percent for Art Program. It was temporarily stored while the street was widened between 1989 and 1991. It was reinstalled per the artist's original instructions in 1991. See IAS files for color photocopy of the work.
