    Description: 
    Abstract winged figure soaring in flight to suggest the breakthrough of human knowledge. Sculpture is mounted on northeast wall of the Gilman building, approximately 20 feet above ground.

    Remarks: 
    Sculpture was designed and constructed at Huxley-Jones' sudio, Chelmsford, England. John T. Edwards, a student of Huxley-Jones', assisted with creation of the sculpture. Sculpture was commissioned for the Charles Gilman Life Sciences Laboratory Building, which was completed in Autumn 1964. Huxley-Jones personally oversaw installation of the work in 1965.
