    Remarks: 
    Sculpture commemorates settlement of the Swiss and Huguenots in South Carolina. The inscriptions were prepared by Katherine Mazyck and Samuel G. Stoney. The sculpture surveyed is a replacement for the two which were stolen. IAS files contain an excerpt from "Transactions of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina," no. 46.
