    Description: 
    Full-length depiction of Jesus as an adolescent, flanked by Joseph to his proper right and Mary to his proper left. All three figures are standing and wear robes, and the figures of Joseph and Jesus clutch their robes at their midriffs with their proper right hands. The proper right hand of Mary rests on the proper left shoulder of Jesus. The robes cover the proper left arms of all three figures. Joseph is hooded.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture consists of 80 pieces of cast aluminum, and is hollow in the rear. A light system is bolted in between Joseph and Jesus. The Double Jay Construction Company installed the sculpture. IAS files contain a photograph of the statue being installed, from Campus (University of Dayton, OH), Feb. 15, 1991, pg. 1. IAS files contain an unpublished meditation on the sculpture by Joseph H. Lackner, dated April 1991.
