Abstract site-specific sculpture, meant to resemble either a shipwreck or the skeletal remains of a whale, consists of five curved beams in oak and poplar wood lined up in horizontally with twenty roughly carved cedar wood forms resembling fish, or furled sails, suspended above on slender vertical posts.

The sculpture's $10,000 cost was funded by the City of Annapolis, Art in Public Places Commission, as a temporary two-year installation for Westgate Circle. The sculpture, which was selected by a panel of nine residents, is part of the city's rotating sculpture installation for Westgate Circle. The sculpture will remain in place for two years, at which time the artist will disassemble the sculpture and the Art in Public Places Commission will install another temporary sculpture.
