    Description: 
    A mosaic depicting St. Margaret of Scotland standing with her left hand resting on a small depiction of a castle and her right hand resting on the shoulder of a young man. He reaches up with his right hand to grasp her left hand. In front of him are two figures, one holding a stack of papers.

    Remarks: 
    The mosaic was commissioned for St. Margaret's Academy, which was built by the Sisters of St. Joseph in the early 1960s. The school was sold to Minneapolis Public Schools in the early 1990s and became Bryn Mawr Elementary School. The mosaic was discovered in 1998 after ivy was removed from the east wall of the school.
