    An abstract fountain made of stacked granite blocks vaguely in the shape of a pyramid.

    Remarks: 
    Mr. Jim Dixon, assistant city manager, designed the fountain and supervised its construction by his city work crew. The fountain is composed of the curbing stones of grey granite, which were removed from Broad Street when the modern "streetscape" was executed. The stones were placed as curbs around 1910. Funded by the Rome Jaycees. Fountain has no drainage system or re-circulation.
