Description:
A granite stele is adorned on the front with a bronze relief depicting World War I soldiers firing machine guns from trenches. Below the relief is an inscription surrounded by small reliefs depicting a soldier with a rifle on his shoulder, two biplanes, a sailor standing on the bow of a boat, and the insignia of the American Legion.
