    Remarks: 
    The pyramid was erected by the Ladies of the Hollywood Memorial Association and was erected in honor of the Confederate dead and the 18,000 soldiers buried in the cemetery. The cornerstone, which was laid on Dec. 3, 1968, contains various historic items including Confederate memorabilia, photographs, newspapers and books. IAS files contain copy of related City of Richmond Sculpture Survey and article from Richmond Times, May 29, 1890.
