    Description: 
    Vertically oriented sculpture topped with a ram depicts "the historical road from palms to pines -- from the desert floor to the forest up the mountain -- a seasonal migration path of the Cahuilla Indians and today's Highway 74." Relief images on all sides of the sculpture include a desert landscape with cacti and indigenous creatures, palm trees, wooded and mountainous landscapes and a group of three figures sitting among various types of baskets.
