    A standing portrait of Christopher Columbus with his proper left hand pointing to a cross on his chest. He holds a small scroll in his lowered proper right hand. The sculpture rests atop a circular base that rests on top of a tall square base. The foot of the base is flanked by two granite inscription tablets listing sponsor names.
