Sculpture: bronze; Base: rocks.

Sculpture: approx. 3 1/2 x 9 x 10 ft.; Base: approx. 3 1/2 x 27 x 9 ft.

Installation consisting of three bronze full-length male figures sited around a pond constructed of rocks. On one side of the pond one of the figures kneels holding a mining pan in his hands. He wears jeans, a jacket and a broad-brimmed hat. Across the pond is a second figure, prying a rock loose with a long pry bar. He is bare-chested and wears rolled-up pants. He kneels on his proper left knee. The third figure bends over a wooden bucket which he holds with both hands. He wears a shirt, trousers and lace-up boots. The figures stand directly on the rocks outlining the pond.
