    Description: 
    Life-size figures of Charles M. Russell and his horse, Monte stand on a square base which is adorned on two sides with bison skulls. Russell wears a striped waistcoat, hat, boots and sash. He leans against Monte, with his proper left arm around the horse's neck. He holds a cigarette in his proper right hand. Monte's head is turned towards Russell.
