    Remarks: 
    The monument marks the advance position held by the regiment and brigade after 4:30 pm on July 2nd, when they moved from the Wheatfield into the woods. The monument (referred to as MN 143) is listed on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures and is referenced in the Gettysburg National Military Park Archives, vol. 12. The monument was originally located in the park in the center of Wheatfield. It was relocated to Rose Grove, August 17, 1909.
