Dimensions:  18 half panels. Overall: approx. 3 ft. x 54 ft. x 3 1/2 in. (Each half panel: 150 lbs.) Inscription:  unsigned Description:  A series of 18 half panels mounted above 9 doors on the side of a building. The panels are abstract bas-relief designs based on Mimbres pottery motifs and include stylized feathers, clouds, lightning, corn, bird eyes, and human hand. The panels are mounted to six-foot U-shaped aluminum strips which are bolted to the facade of the building. Total cost was $7,670. The panels were executed as part of Western New Mexico University's centennial. The panels are placed above the nine doorways on the east facing entrance to the Fine Arts Auditorium.
