    Description: 
    The monument is an 18 inch-high wall made of pink and black granite with a downward sloping ledge, and encircles the walkways of Draper Park.

    Remarks: 
    The monument design was selected by juried competition. The monument honors all who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. IAS files contain copy of the competition announcement. Over $50,000 in private donations was raised to construct the monument. IAS files contain a listing of citations for related newspaper articles from Middlesex News, Worcester Monthly, Inside Worcester, Milford Daily News and Worcester Telegram. IAS files contain a copy of the War Memorial Monument Call for Entries.
