    Description: 
    A steelworker stands holding a six foot long, thin steel beam with his gloved proper right hand. He holds calipers in his proper left hand with which he measures the width of the beam. The steelworker wears a hard-hat and has pens and pencils sticking out from the breast pocket on his proper right side. The sculpture rests on a square base on top of a concrete foundation.
