    Remarks: 
    The memorial marks the site of the Salem Village military training field and is a memorial to Deacon Nathaniel Ingersoll who donated the land for the training field. IAS files contain a copy of the Massachusetts Historical Commission Form C - Object questionnaire dated June 15, 1994.
