Inscription:  (Seal:) INDIANA (Front of marker, incised lettering:) 2ND BRIGADE-KING/4TH DIVISION-REYNOLDS/14TH CORPS-THOMAS/19TH INDIANA BATTERY (Plaque on rear of marker:) INDIANA'S TRIBUTE/TO HER/NINETEENTH BATTERY/(list of commanding officers and account of the battle) unsigned Description:  A stone carving of an eagle, with wings slightly spread, standing on cannon barrels with an American flag draped around its feet. The eagle stands atop a square monument with inset bronze medallion of Indiana's state seal. On the back is a bronze relief plaque and war implements carved in relief. It was placed by the State of Indiana.
