The Seventh Archangel stands in a gown, blowing her trumpet which she holds with both hands. She stands atop a trapezoidal base with an inscription.

Dedicated to the citizens of Russell by the Russell Arts Council and the Kansas Cultural Arts Commission. Project cost is estimated at $2,000, funded by local efforts. Designed by Trudy Furney and constructed by Trudy Furney, Gary Christie, G. J. Long, Melinda Cross, and Easter Davis. The Seventh Archangel proclaims Armageddon, where the last great battle between good and evil will be fought before the Day of Judgment.
