A kneeling figure of a male Mesquaki (Fox) Indian carved within a tree stump. The figure gazes out over the water to a bank opposite its location. He holds a bow in his right hand; his left hand rests on the ground in front of his left knee. He wears a buffalo robe, a bear claw necklace, and a feather in his hair.
