    Description: 
    A bronze sculpture depicting a Spanish American War infantryman with his rifle held at the ready position. The sculpture stands atop a stone base adorned with a bronze plaque listing the original roster of Company F, 6th Massachusetts Infantry United States Volunteers who served in the Cuban and Puerto Rican campaigns.

    The monument was erected by the City of Marlborough in honor of those who served in the Cuban and Puerto Rican campaigns of the Spanish American War. IAS files contain a copy of the Massachusetts Historical Commission Form C - Monuments questionnaire dated July 15, 1978.
