Description:
A relief plaque set in a granite block near a flagpole. The relief plaque contains a profile of Captain Eugene J. Pasacreta within a decorative shield. He wears a "navy blue" police officer's cap and is surrounded on both sides by laurels of dark brown oak leaves. There is text below the shield.

Remarks:
Eugene J. Pasacreta, who died of cancer Dec. 9, 1976, was the Executive Captain of the Westport Police Department. The Police Department collected $3,000 in contributions for the relief plaque. IAS files contain a related article from the Westport News (CT), Oct. 9, 1978.
