A fired clay arch is composed of two tall columns adorned with a brick pattern and topped by a smooth horizontal section. The arch rests on a flat foundation.

The artist was one of three recipients of Artist-Initiated Grants from the Georgia Council for the Arts. The sculpture was funded by a portion of the Council's $5,700 grant to the three artists. The sculpture is handicapped accessible and intended to be "hands on" for all viewers. IAS files contain articles from the Times Georgian (Carrollton, GA), Aug. 23, 1990, pg. 1C and 5C; and a summer 1990 brochure from the Carrollton Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department.
