    Description: 
    A perching eagle with wings spread outward and upward is installed on a square base with a rounded top. The eagle's head, tail feathers and talons is painted white and the rest of it is brown.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture's origins are not completely known. It may have been fabricated at the Corning Brick, Terra Cotta and Tile Company. The base was designed and donated by Duke, Van Dusen and Duke. It was executed some twenty years after the eagle.
