    Remarks:
Funded through donations. Built to be a city mascot. The artist used a dead crow as a model, multiplying the size ten times to get the proportions and shape right. The inscriptions on the base came from a "Book of Birds" that his wife had. SOS! survey includes contradictory information about medium of base being either cement or cast concrete. Some structural vandalism has been repaired.
