The figure wears a long robe and has shoulder-length hair. He holds an orb in both hands to his chest, near his proper left shoulder. It originally stood at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute Museum of Art. It was later moved across the street, to a park named in honor of Copernicus. IAS files contain related news clippings.
