IN THAT/BATTLE AND A MARKER/PLACED ON EAST MARGIN OF/LAFAYETTE PIKE/IN KELLY'S FIELD/BEARING THIS INSCRIPTION/This marks to spot reached by/the 60th Regt. N.C.
