    Remarks:
The sculpture was commissioned by the Belzoni-Humphreys County Development Foundation to be placed in front of the Catfish Information Center in Belzoni. Humphreys County is known as the "Catfish Capital of the World." Nearby plaque reads: "King Cat" - sculpture by Wes Bobo of Rolling Fork, MS Tradition has it that the Delta is the land where "Cotton is King." Catfish farmers have a way to go before catching up, but you can't really blame them for thinking big. IAS files contain related article.
