Standing figure of Thomas Jefferson, casually dressed in simple period clothing. His proper left hand is on his proper left hip, while his proper right arm hangs down at his proper right side. His head is turned to look over his proper right shoulder.

This figure is a replica of one which stands at the entrance of the Museum of Westward Expansion, underneath the Gateway Arch, St. Louis, Missouri. Plaster cast by Nedo Cassettari. Nearby marker reads: Thomas Jefferson/1743-1826/"Nothing More Than Education/Advances The Prosperity, The/Power, and The Happiness/of a Nation"/Presented by the Seven Society/Founder's Day, 13 April 1978/(large numeral 7 with infinite symbol above, the letter A at left, and the Greek letter omega at right).
