Remarks:
The statues came from Italy and were possibly supplied by the Carron Company of Manchester. Installed circa 1937-1938, the statues were eventually placed in storage in the late 1950s or early 1960s when the bases began to deteriorate. The statues were reerected on new granite bases at their original locations when Fr. Marchard was pastor of St. Martin's.
