Remarks:
The sculpture was commissioned as part of the Courthouse Square Public Art Project, a joint project of the City of Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs and Boone County. It was funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and local support.
Dedication plaque reads: JAMBOREE/Celebrating Diversity in Harmony/Artists: Jim Calvin and Andy Davis/Commissioned by the City of Columbia/Site provided by Boone County/Dedicated June 12, 1997/Funded by Boone County Community Trust City of Columbia/National Endowment for the Arts.
