On the left is the portrait head of Elizabeth Charlton Calverley. She is shown in proper right profile. On the right is the portrait head of John C. Calverley. He is shown in proper right profile. The medallions are mounted on the front face of a long granite marker which sits on a stepped base. The outer surface of the step is rough-hewn.
