    Description: 
    Monument consists of three uniformed Union army soldiers installed on a tall shaft, pedestal and tiered base. The figure atop the shaft wears a long coat, cap and moustache and holds a flag on a pole crooked in his proper left arm. The figure on the west side of the base is a dismounted cavalryman. He carries a rifle across his back and his proper left hand is on his hip. The figure on the east side of the base wears a long coat, cap and moustache and holds his rifle in front of him with both hands around the barrel. Decorative relief elements on the shaft and pedestal include emblems for each branch of military service.
