A full-length standing portrait of Dr. Harry E. Jenkins, President Emeritus of Tyler Junior College. Dr. Jenkins wears a business suit, tie and eyeglasses. He holds a Bible in his proper right hand. The statue is installed atop a low brick base.

Remarks:
Sculpture donated to Tyler Junior College by Watson W. Wise of Tyler. Dr. Jenkins served as the president of the college from 1946 to 1981. IAS files contain a copy of a press release from Tyler Junior College announcing the unveiling of the statue.
